Travelers wear face masks at Suvarnabhumi airport in Samut Prakan province on Wednesday. Authorities are considering stepping up screening of air passengers from countries heavily hit by the corona virus disease 2019.
All passengers arriving at the Airport will be subjected to a Thermo screening, and will be quarantined immediately if they are found to have high temperature.
Advisory note from the Office of International Affairs at Assumption University of Thailand:
Students arriving in Thailand are strongly advised to carry with them Health Clearance Certificates from Hospitals that can provide such certificates.
Students with pre-existing medical conditions/ complications are strongly advised not to travel on the Study Abroad Exchange program.
